New Doll Room Tour

Ok, I cleaned up my sewing room so I could show you
all what our doll room looks like now.
As you come up the stairs, the first thing you see is...

Martin and his sister Madi's room.
Martin loves being next to Penny's stable.

To the right is my sewing area and...

To the left is the AG dollhouse.

To the right of Penny's stable are the AG doll clothes bins.
(that white box is the 18" doll trunk-room)

The clothes bins hold the tops, bottoms, skirts,
pajamas, etc that don't need to be hung up.

And to the far right is my sewing area
All you sewers will like my magnifying swing-arm lamp.
(This is a great place to relax and create)

Remnant basket and ceramic rooster.
(I love remnants - perfect for doll clothes!)

My mini bins hold all my sewing bric a brac, buttons, snaps, ribbon roses, etc.
(This is also a safe zone for small toys that narrowly missed destruction by the jaws of death.)

Jaws of death aka Maximus

Doll pattern books. On the right is my AG doll patterns.
The smaller notebook on the left holds my patterns for smaller dolls.

As you turn to the right you see my bookcase
and one of my vintage doll cradles with my 1973 Madame Alexander baby doll,
my 1953 Ideal Ruth doll (now called Belinda) and Raggedy Annie.

Here I tried to get a better picture of these cuties.

Just past the cradle is the doll closet.

This is the Crissy Doll's new room and also where we
house our AG doll dress collection.

I decided the Crissy room needed a pink wall and notice the hanging lamp!

As you continue turning to the right you see the AG dollhouse.

And back to Martin's room.

Now, on the left, you see my grandmother's secretary.
The secretary holds a collection of soft toys and
my Beatrix Potter books.
You can also see a special tea set a friend gave me and some
Alice in Wonderland paper dolls.

Just past the secretary is a little guest room.
Hanging on the dresser are all our AG shoes.

Camelia now has her room on the dresser top.
Welcome Camelia

A twin bed and in the corner is another cradle.

My Raggedy Anns and Andys, a vintage cloth doll and sock monkey.
Raggedy Ann and how she found Andy

Below are two more doll beds with our
baby dolls and my sock elephant.

When you turn and look back toward the dollhouse you see...

Another dollhouse!

1988 Disney Alice in Wonderland and
1950s Betsy McCall in Betsy's bedroom.

I made the 3" Raggedy Ann dolls, because
everyone needs a doll.

 Alice's room.

And my 1956 American Character Toni doll room.
And Toni's 1950s kitchen.

Back out to the sewing room...

One more look at the dollhouse

and the sewing area.

And that's our whole doll room tour!
I hope you enjoyed it.

Fun to see all of it, lots of dolls! I need to work on my Sunshine Family set up, I've neglected it since I got engrossed in AG. I've been enjoying your pins lately too, lots of great memories!

Flo, thank you, I'm glad you liked it! I want to see your Sunshine Family set up!!! AG can definitely be engrossing. I seem to wander back and forth between dolls in terms of what interests me at that moment. I always come back to the AG dolls though. :)

This space is femininity at its very best. If I walked in I'd never want to leave. Thank you for sharing. You've given me lots of inspiration.
