Getting ready for Christmas!

All of us Savage dolls are getting ready for Christmas by decorating the family tree!

"I'll unwrap the decorations for the tree if you three
                                                    set out the mantle decorations."

"I'm setting up the nativity Scene first.  I am almost done.
I've turned it so the lamp will light it up."

"Hey, who is going to help me arrange the mantle?"

"I'll help you Nellie.  How about putting the Santa sleigh here?"

                                                                "That looks great girls!
Look who I found underneath the tree decorations,
"There's only a few more decorations to put on the tree."
                                                      "Everyone pick your favorite."

"Oh, it all looks SO beautiful!"

"Someone turn on the music box tree."

"Squeeze in everyone! I've got the camera on automatic flash."
"Make space for me to jump in!"
"OH no! I jiggled the camera!"

"Emma, play Silent Night for us."
"Only if you all sing along."

"Silent Night..."

"Holy Night, ..."

"All is calm, all is bright..."

Savannah Ann in Georgia

We just got an update about Savannah Ann.

Savannah Ann is getting ready for Christmas with Aunt Sina in Georgia.
They have a big day ahead.  First they will decorate the tree,
then take a walk before the party.

Savannah has really settled in to life in Georgia.  She loves her new family.
She now has 2 dogs, Nina and Charlie.  They are SO sweet!

Savannah loves taking walks with the dogs around PTC.
The trees are so many beautiful colors this time of year.

She was very excited to help Aunt Sina decorate her Christmas tree!
After all the decorations were up it was time to dress for
the party in her brand new Christmas dress!

After  decorating the tree and the Christmas party Savannah Ann
and her kitten Precious were very tired and ready for bed.
 Good night Savannah Ann
and Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from Georgia y'all!

What has Nina been up to????

What has Nina been up to?  WELL!  Let me tell you.  She and Grandma have been very busy making jewelry for dolls.  Nina is Grandma's model for her lovely jewelry and headbands.  Nina wants to share with us all about what it takes to be a fashion model.

"Hello all!  this is Nina.  I wanted to share with you about being a model.  It is a lot of work being a model.  To be a good model you have to be able to stand patiently for long periods of time while your photo is being taken.  I happen to be very good at standing still.  Sometimes you have to have several photos of the same pose taken to be sure of a good shot!"

"When taking a fashion photo it is important to consider the color of what's being modeled and the background.  Here, Grandma Linda decided to use a dark background to show off the crystal tiara headband."

"I don't always look straight into the camera.  Here I am looking thoughtfully into the distance while I skillfully  display the jewelry set I am modeling.  It is important to look natural and relaxed."

"As you can see in this picture, a white background and white shirt were used to draw all attention to the colorful headband I am wearing.  Luckily I am very good at standing still.  It makes the photo-shoot go more smoothly."

"Here I am in a shot that gives the impression that I am running in the wind.  But, I'm not!  I am standing very still, but the hairdresser has styled my hair to look windblown.  My hairdresser is the best!"

"As you can see a lot goes on being a model.  I enjoy my job as a model and look forward to doing more work in front of the camera.

Well, that's all for now!  Grandma and I will keep you posted about what we are up to here in Texas.  Until next time, take care Y'all!"

Hugs n kisses,

Nina and Grandma Linda
