Emergency blog post!

OK doll lovers.  I have a dilemma.  I have a long-standing love of the AG Kirsten doll.  I have resisted for a long time because my doll room is really getting too full.

I think I love her because she reminds me of the Little House Girls.
There is an ebay Kirsten and I am not sure if I should give in and bid or not.
The listing ends in 8 hours!
Help me decide what to do!!

I GOT HER!!

This is her eBay photo

I'm SO excited!!

I would try to get Kristen. Since she is retired you may not get another opportunity.

  4. My older sister has Kirsten and she loves her. Personally you should get her while you have a chance!
I have Addy and Kanani. I'm so glad I did while I could and that was a while ago in 2011 and 2009.
You should definitely get her! :D

  6. Kirsten is my very favorite doll. She is actually my daughter's doll. I will give her to my granddaughter when she is old enough, but until then, I am going to enjoy her. If it was me, and Kirsten is in good shape, I'd bid on her! In fact, I have been thinking of buying another Kirsten for myself! I would get her in a heartbeat!!!!😊

  9. Thanks for your support Linda, everyone seems to love Kirsten! I have been thinking about getting her for about 3 years now! When I placed the bid I was kind of saying to myself, "You've done it now Brenda!", but now if I get outbid I'll be so disappointed!!

  11. Oh WOW😊😊😊😊😊 Congratulations!!!!!I'm so happy for you!!!!! Yesterday I bid on Kirsten's Scenes and Settings and I won too. When will she arrive HOME? Can't wait to see her. Love her stories too!!! I found her baking outfit, minus the shoes and hair ribbons for only $6.00 about a month ago at a thrift store. They looked and felt brand new! Guess I'll have to keep up with the Jones's(or the Savages) and get myself a beloved Kirsten)!

  15. *From Julie's doll mom:*

Congratulations! I remember when I first starting getting Pleasant Company catalogs, how much Kirsten reminded me of "Little House". I was in love w/ the TV series and the books as a kid, and I had a 6" Carrie Hobbie doll and playset, (still have her), and played "Little House" all the time. Are you going to keep her period accurate?

  16. Thank you! I am very excited. I too LOVED the Little House series. I read all the books long before the series came out and when it did I watched EVERY episode. I don't know about keeping her period accurate. It is something to think about, hmmm, if I did that she would need her own room....

  20. I'm just glad you get to share in my excitement, I do feel pretty excited. There is just something about getting a new doll. I don't think that feeling ever left me from the first time I remember opening a doll at Christmas or my birthday. I was giggling to myself about how self-serving it was to ask all you doll lovers for advice about whether to get another doll, hehe. I stacked my own deck!
