I needed another bedroom for a special doll.
Here is the underside of the bed and top of the dressing table.
The dressing table I painted, the bed will be covered with fabric.
Here is the dressing table all finished.
I was modeling it after Molly's dressing table.
Here is the finished bed.
So who is all this for?
an 18", 1950s Miss Revlon Doll.
Here she is in her new room.
Now I just need a name for her.
Love the furniture. Looking forward to learning Miss (Revlon)'s new name. :~)
ReplyDeleteOh thank you! I enjoy making furniture and accessories for the dolls. I am still trying to figure out a name. I know something will come to me.
ReplyDeleteThose turned out great, I especially like the dressing table.
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful! I love all of her clothing.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit the dressing table is my favorite piece of furniture I have made! It turned out better than I imagined.
ReplyDeleteCanadian Doll Notebook - The pictures don't do her justice. She is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteShe's as pretty as a flower! Maybe a "flower" name...? Lily, Rose, Petunia, Pansy, Daisy, Camellia....
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you picked one of my names! I was leaning towards Camellia myself!
DeleteMiss Revlon has some truely beautiful clothes, I just love the yellow dress and night attire. Can imagine her in a coffee bar with all her friends..... Or having a sleepover with the girls.
ReplyDeleteOH! I like that idea, maybe Camelia? Thank you!
ReplyDelete@ Mizzkay - I love her clothes too! This is the first time I bought a doll for the clothes I already have, but it was fu. I am thinking of making her some pedal pusher jeans and a knit top - perfect for the coffee bar.
ReplyDelete@anonymous - if you see this, sign your name so I can call you by name! Such great name ideas!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful doll and a beautiful room! What part will she play in your doll world? She doesn't look like a kid. Is she an aunt, or someone's mom? And I think Ginger is a good name for her.
ReplyDeleteThose are good questions, I have not decided yet, but she definitely looks older - very adult.
ReplyDeleteGinger, hmmm. I also had a suggestion of Camelia. It's SO HARD to decide!!!
It just struck me that Camellia was right for her - good job!
