We mentioned earlier that we might make just a couple small changes to finish our bath,
like finding a bigger mirror.
Here is the old mirror and vanity...
And here is the new mirror and vanity.
I found this lavender velour fabric in a thrift store
and made some matching bath towels.
We made a shelf to separate the towels and storage bins.
BATH TOWEL TUTORIAL
Cut out a piece of velour or terry cloth that is 18 inches
by 10 inches.
Starting with the longest sides, zig-zag about a 1/4 inch fold.
from top to bottom.
For the narrow ends turn about 1 inch and zig-zag.
That's it!
You can make some smaller rectangles and squares for hand-towels and washcloths.

Oh my goodness! Very nice, guys. LOVE the picture of your doll with the towel on her head!

Thanks Dawn, I must admit I think that picture came out really cute too.
ReplyDeleteGreat updates! I agree that the picture of her with the towel on her head is adorable.
ReplyDeleteThanks Flo! I must admit I wasn't sure if I would be able to make the towel STAY on her head! I chose Emma because her hair is not as long as some of our other dolls.
